Announcement of Interview Test Pertukaran Pemuda Antar Negara (PPAN) 2014

Balai Pemuda dan Olahraga, Dinas Pendidikan, Pemuda dan Olahraga DIY and Purna Caraka Muda Indonesia (PCMI) Jogja would like to thank all of you who have participated in Administrative Selection of Pertukaran Pemuda Antar Negara 2014.

We are very pleased to announce the result of administrative selection of Pertukaran Pemuda Antar Negara 2014. We also would like to send our big congratulations for those who have been chosen as the interviewee.

Firstly, please do pay attention for several points as listed below:

  • The registration will start from 07.30 am  and be closed at 08.00 am. We will start the interview based on the arrival of participants. The sooner you arrive, the sooner you will have your interview session started.
  • We kindly ask you to bring any supporting documents or instruments, such as: music instrument, CDs/cassettes, costume, portfolio of your achievements, etc.
  • We kindly ask you to bring your own lunch.
  • The attire for the interview session is smart casual.

Australia-Indonesia Youth Exchange Program (AIYEP) 2014

Australia Indonesia Youth Exchange Program is an exchange program operated under the agreement between Indonesia and Australia government since 1981. Its purpose is to offer opportunities to the youth from both sides in appreciating culture, development, and way of life in either country.

This program is funded and run by the Australia-Indonesia Institute (AII) under the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Aside from that, this program is also endorsed by the Cultural Office from the Australian Embassy in Jakarta. The arrangement of the program while in Australia is coordinated by The Communication Network (TCN), a consultant organization which focuses on bilateral cooperation. From the Indonesian Government’s side, this program is managed by the Ministry of Youth and Sport.

Indonesia-Malaysia Youth Exchange Program (IMYEP) 2014

The Ministry of Youth and Sport has conducted many kinds of youth empowerment programs, among them is convey the youth to International Youth Exchange program with exchange is the underlined concept. One of the programs that bear this concept is Indonesia Malaysia Youth Exchange Program (IMYEP). The main theme of this program is about Sociopreneurship.

Based on the Memorandum of Understanding between Indonesian government represented by Indonesian Embassy in Kuala Lumpur and Malaysian Ministry of Youth and Sport in 1979, it has been agreed to conduct the youth exchange program between Indonesia and Malaysia. This agreement’s purpose is to open opportunities to the youth in exchanging knowledge through having a common experience in both countries and even other countries.

The implementation of the program is to have activities for both parties which are held in Indonesia or Malaysia every consecutive year. See the short description below:

Indonesia-Canada Youth Exchange Program (ICYEP) 2014

Prepare yourself to the most dynamic international youth exchange program. ICYEP has several features that could turn your life upside down: a counterpart pair system, voluntary work placements, host families, your group dynamics, community development programs, and the two opposite environment between Canada and rural Indonesia.

In this program, you will meet your counterpart, a Canadian male/female which is bonded to you. With your counterpart, you share most of your living experiences during the program, aside from the relationship dynamics you may encounter with. You will share the same room, living under the same roof, and working with your counterpart 24 hour a day, 7 days a week.

You also obliged to spend most of your days in a week at your agreed work placements. The work placements could be a school, research center, food bank, youth center, etc. At these places, you will do your tasks given by your supervisor. If lucky, you could have a golden access travelling to another part of Canada trough your work placement.
